‘Fake terror’

The men’s (Houston Taliban group) supporters have created a Web site and blog called “Houston Muslims Falsely Accused” at www.faketerror.com.

The site calls the four men “Muslims falsely arrested on make-believe terrorism charges to cause ‘fake terror.’ “

Qazi’s supporters in the courtroom included a representative of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the nation’s largest Muslim civil liberties group.

Faketerror is supposedly founded to support 3 cousins they believe were improperly entrapped. It was set up and used by Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) members, some of whom are family members of Syed Maaz Shah, Shiraz Syed Qazi and Adnan Babar Mirza (as identified in reports from the Houston Chronicle Fawaz Qazi and Izzat Qazi are such relatives).

We found a possible group connection via the Houston Cricket Club that both Izzat Qazi (who commented in support of the accused in the Houston Chronicle) and Fawaz belong. We noticed Noman on the faketerror site as well. On Faketerror he calls himself Noman ‘Babar Mirza’. This seems suspect to us since ‘Babar Mirza’ is taken from Adnan ‘Babar Mirza’ who was one of the main Houston Taliban who was arrested that they are supporting. Here we see a Noman ‘Rizvi’ (same Noman maybe?) along side of Izzat and Fawaz. Noman on fake terror is one who was posting pics of people Faketerror would like to ‘dispose’ of. One who has no known connection with the case and one (Malik Mohammed) who is an FBI agent. Here is the list of names from the Houston Cricket team, and all three apparently related or close friends of three accused members of the Houston Taliban group:

The Faketerror site was initially kicked off by Muhammad Ayub who is the President ICNA Puget Sound Unit and Coordinator WhyIslam-West, NW Chapter.

Many violent and hateful remarks were indulged on this site at the incitement and the encouragement of this man.

Before they took his comments down we captured it from the front page of their website:

1. Muhammad Ayub – January 28, 2007

Dear Houston Muslim Community, Peace be unto you.
I have attended the Friday hearing at the Federal court for Mr. Adnan Mirza and am quite familiar now with the facts of the case. Here in the USA, Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. However, On the basis of mere allegations, some folks, have condemned these kids publicly and completed their own pre-judicial trial in their minds. I don’t think that is damage control. It is evidence of an inferiority complex and extreme defensiveness.

I humbly request you to stand up for the entrapment case of the QAZI brothers. It is very straight-forward the 2 agents-provocateurs (names edited by Realterror due to an unfounded allegation) elicited remarks from kids around camp-fires on 6 different occasions. Absent the military person/undercover FBI agent, Mr. Malik, there would not have been any guns training at all.

I would like to discuss the details of the case on this blog and see how the community’s morale can be lifted. We can also discuss CAIR’s involvement, even if it is marginal.

I humbly request you to stand up for the entrapment case of the QAZI brothers. I beg you not to let the community down when we need you. Please also contact various other HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS.”

Kids, Mr. Ayub?? The youngest was 19 and the oldest 33! Nice try but we don’t buy your lie.

This is Muhammad Ayub:

We have found an important article linking the accused Adnan Babar Mirza, (and by association in news reports and in this context, Faketerror), to Saudi Wahabbists at Masjid el Farouq in Houston Texas. See this important article to view the connection: Masjid el Farouq – Wahabbi connection. The literature found at this Mosque was from Saudi Wahabbists which emphasized the obligatory nature of the purification that Jihad produces, whether it be overcoming external enemies or the inner self.

The Faketerror site hosted many members all but calling for the direct execution of random people whom they believed were responsible for the arrest of ICNA (and ICNA’s Whyislam) members.

Comments on the site are moderated. In the approved comments they released to the public, the site declared:

25. Abu Jamal – March 4, 2007

That ICNA still lets this disgusting munafiq (hypocrite) in their organization and post on their boards shows they fear the oil-barons in the US government more than Allah. We want these people representing us? If they wont dispose of him then someone else will have to. The Islamic law regarding those who aid kuffar (non-Muslims) in fighting Muslims is very clear, their blood is not sacred.”

This is a similar comment Abu Jamal made on another forum called, Hizb-ut-Tahrir. Here is a snap of it. Thank you Kadaveri (our source, a moderator for Whyislam forums) for providing this to us:

Click here for more Abu Jamal quotes. Without doubt you will see similarities.

Interesting that Hizb ut-Tahrir and the ICNA people who founded faketerror are collaborating. Hizb ut-Tahrir is a group banned for inciting violence. (Click here) to read about Hizb ut-Tahrir. Hizb ut-Tahrir is also mentioned in the following New York Times article about the UK Terror Plot people. See: Clearer picture emerges of suspect in bomb plot.

Comments such as this were allowed to continue and indulged by the founders of the site until many complaints were lodged. All of the opposing views to their stated agenda were deleted immediately.

Remember, comments on the Faketerror site are now moderated and anyone with an opposing view have not been allowed to post.  Many previous posts have been deleted, some we captured before their deletion.  This is the number one complaint and people come to our blog instead to post their comments. So the posts on their site ARE their opinion and the opinion of their members and their disclaimer is meaningless.

This snap shows that the people associated with the Faketerror site (since only THEIR views are allowed on the site) are in line with the Houston Taliban group, who marketed www.jihadunspun.com on their Whyislam-TX site before it was taken down. They praise Jihadunspun’s reporting of ‘those who are doing the sacrifices some of us are afraid of’. Jihadunspun reports on suicide bombings and other acts of terror in hotspots around the globe, like Afghanistan and Iraq!

The following snaps are an example of one out of many posts which were deleted immediately for expressing an opposing non-violent view. This comment was on the site for one day before it was removed and Faketerror began moderating the comments regularly. The second is a telling indictment of Faketerror and people like them.

The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) is a nation wide Islamic organization that claims to renounce terrorism and support for terrorists. They have offices in the US and Canada. Whyislam is a subsidiary of ICNA whose goal is to convert people to Islam.

The faketerror website had posted pictures of individuals they wish to “dispose” of for supposedly assisting in the arrest of their 4 Houston members, Kobie Diallo Williams, 33, Adnan Babar Mirza, Shiraz Qazi and Maaz Shah, all whom are ICNA members (workers). According to Associated Press news reports, the officer who infiltrated the group was FBI agent Malik Mohammed. It appears that the group was openly recruiting and many more people knew of the groups activities which explains the initial random accusations of those at Faketerror.

“…the group was always looking for individuals who also wanted to take part in a jihad and that Shah was such a person.” – Houston Chronicle

Williams has pled guilty to conspiracy to join the Taliban and fight US forces after coming forward to take responsibility for his actions. The web site claims the four ICNA members were entrapped by the undercover officer.

“”He (Kobie Diallo Williams) came to a point when he knew what he was doing was wrong. He decided to step up and take responsibility knowing the repercussions are so serious. It could have been a lot worse had he not come forward,” Floyd [Williams lawyer] said.”

“Qazi, 29, who was in the US on a student visa was found guilty in February of unlawfully possessing a firearm. Mirza, 29, has pled innocent to conspiracy. Shah, 20, has pled innocent to illegal possession of a firearm by an alien.”

“In finding the defendant guilty, the jury rejected Shah’s claim that undercover officials working with the Houston Joint Terrorism Task Force impermissibly entrapped Shah.-Houston Chronicle.

Since some posters, perhaps friends or those who knew the people who appear to be wrongfully accused on the site, waged a complaint campaign, Faketerror has since been forced to remove the violent comments, including the comments from the ICNA WI scholar Muhammad Ayub, but still includes incitement against random some individuals. One we now know according to the trial news reports (Mr. Mohammed) to be an FBI agent. They also have since put up a disclaimer in response to our expose of their promotion of violence distancing the site from their real views.

Strangely, the site only focuses on 3 of the 4 suspects. No mention was made of the American Muslim (Kobie Diallo Williams) who rolled over on his friends (he was not even included on their site!) until after we posted this information on the faketerror blog, but there was ardent support for the Pakistani terrorist wannabes (Adnan Babar Mirza, Shiraz Syed Qazi and Syed maaz Shah, all cousins). “Things that make you go, ‘hmm…’”

Though they have removed the comments that call for the ‘disposal’ of a man, serious threats on his life, they are still circulating pictures on their blog, which is an obvious attempt to keep up the threats against certain ones involved. The comment by ‘faketerror’ says he removed the comments about the man, yet he goes on to have one last word against this individual.

They are also trying to paint these men (on trial) as innocent children, refering to them as ‘kids.’ Nevermind that one of these ‘kids’ is 29 years old, another ‘kid’ is 33 years old. What are the ages of the others? Doesn’t matter really, they are far from the ‘kids’ faketerror is trying to make them out to be.

2. Scarecrow - May 20, 2007

So true eleveniswhere. They are not kids! 33, 26, 29 and 20 are not children!

Funny how they were quick to let people know guards open and photocopy letters… why even bring that up? Don’t discuss the cases? General greetings and supplications? What is the point in asking for contributions (isn’t CAIR and/or ICNA helping with the attorneys anyway?) and support, when you’re gonna tell people what to say?

4. eleveniswhere - June 19, 2007

There isn’t much activity over on Faketerror these days. No updates, comments. Wonder what they’re up to these days?

5. Monique Lavine - June 22, 2007

LOL,
That’s because you can’t figure out what they’re doing next.
