In this article, Osama bin Laden, declares jihad on other Muslims! Supporting his cause with silence or any other manner is to support mass murder against your own people! Who does this guy think he is? Here it is:
“I tell Pervez and his army: Your betrayal of your nation and people has been exposed,” bin Laden said, adding later that it was the duty of Pakistan’s Muslims to “carry out jihad and fighting to remove Pervez, his government, his army and those who help him.” (Click here)

“Intelligence officials say Gelowicz’s path led him through Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Syria, and to a terrorist training camp in Pakistan… The Multi-Kultur-Haus, an Islamic centre on the Bavarian side in Neu-Ulm, was the centre of the movement that became known in German intelligence circles as the Ulm Scene… Fritz Gelowicz found Islam as a teenager. Investigators say a German friend of Turkish descent named Tolga Durbin introduced Gelowicz to a radical form of Islam. When searching for potential converts, leaders at the Multi-Kultur-Haus focused on young people, generally between 17 and 28 years old. Gelowicz began to frequent the centre, which preached the strict Wahabi form of Islam practised in Saudi Arabia…” (Click here)
The Convert’s Zeal September 10, 2007

“Much as this June’s failed terrorist attacks in London and Glasgow focused attention on the participation of doctors and other professionals in jihadist terror, the plot disrupted in Germany this week seems certain to put the spotlight on another key group within violent Islamism: converts… Well before the German bust, converts were turning up regularly in European terrorist operations… In November 2005, Muriel Degauque, a 38-year-old Belgian baker’s assistant and former Catholic, became the first female Muslim suicide bomber from Europe when she attacked a U.S. patrol in Iraq, wounding one soldier.” (Click here)

“The diversity of homegrown extremists and the direct knowledge they have of the United States makes the threat they pose potentially very serious. The radicalization of U.S. Muslim-converts is of particular concern. While conversion to Islam, in itself, does not directly lead to radicalization, converts appear to be more vulnerable and likely to be placed in situations that put them in a position to be influenced by Islamic extremists.
Radicalization
In 2006, al Qaeda and its sympathizers continued their attempts to make global jihad accessible to English-speaking Western Muslims by disseminating large amounts of violent Islamic extremist propaganda in English via media outlets and the Internet. Multiple Internet sites that are dedicated to the spread of radical Islamic propaganda deftly exploited any and all terrorist and political events, including the war in Iraq…
The Internet has facilitated the radicalization process, particularly in the United States, by providing access to a broad and constant stream of extremist Islamic propaganda, as well as experienced and possibly well-connected operators via web forums and chat rooms. ” (Click here)
Militant Jihadism: Radicalization, Conversion, Recruitment September 6, 2007

Excellent and very detailed article by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS). Here are some beginning highlights and outline of the essay:
“‘radicalism’ is defined as: ‘The active pursuit of and support for far-reaching changes in society which may constitute a danger to the democratic legal order through the threat or use of violence or other undemocratic means’1. The focus will be on the process by which Muslims, or converts, become ‘radicalized’—that is, they come to accept the legitimacy and necessity for ongoing violent jihad against the governments and peoples of both Muslim and non-Muslim countries…
Their inspiration came from Sayyid Qutb (1906-1966)5 who drew upon the concept of jahiliyya (a state of barbarism and ignorance about the Prophet Mohammed’s revelations) and Wahhabism6 (a militant effort to purify Islam) to justify the necessity for eternal jihad in order to “abolish injustice from the earth, to bring people to the worship of God alone”.7 Qutb asserted that jihad was not just a means to defend Muslim lands and peoples but an offensive, proactive and permanent revolution against internal and external enemies who usurped God’s sovereignty…

German arrests expose growing al-Qaida network September 5, 2007

“A recent survey of European militants by a Dutch think tank found that converts were heavily over-represented, at around 8% of those arrested. Converts are of great concern to western security services due to their evident ability to “stay below the radar”. Security sources describe conversion and subsequent radicalisation (the two sometimes go hand-in-hand) as a “social phenomenon” and emphasise the social and economic marginalisation of many of them. Richard Reid, the shoe bomber, is the classic British case.” (Click here)

“A self-confessed Muslim fundamentalist has told the BBC about his police informant role in helping to stop an alleged terrorist attack… Canadian Mubin Shaikh befriended men who were allegedly plotting truck bombs in the downtown area of Toronto… It is also claimed they discussed storming the parliament in revenge for Canada’s military role in Afghanistan… Muhammad Robert Heft, who runs P4E, a Toronto charity for Muslim converts, said: “I personally believe that Mubin Sheikh had good intentions and I personally believe he was trying to keep Canada safe…. Mr Shaikh told the BBC he could have earned a great deal more and didn’t do it for the money… ” (Click here)
The JFK Plot and Global Terrorism June 8, 2007

“The JFK plot is interesting for several reasons. The attack not only illustrates the jihadi communities’ continuing fascination with aviation, but it also bolsters particular emerging trends in global terrorism while challenging others.First, this group appears to conform to the common, self radicalized, supported and operationalized cells that are all too common across the world. While it is possible that an al-Qaida connection could emerge, it is very unlikely. This appears to be a totally independent operation, conforming to the existing trends…” (Click here)
